MR. JO Tecbond – LV50: Easy Mixing, Superior Brush Bonding
MR. JO Tecbond – LV50: Easy Mixing, Superior Brush Bonding
In the brush manufacturing industry, precision matters — not just in alignment and aesthetics, but in bond integrity. When bristles come loose, customer confidence goes with them.
That’s why MR. JO Tecbond – LV50 was designed: a 50% solid brush bonding epoxy system with a simplified 100:50 mix ratio, ideal for today’s evolving manufacturing lines.
Whether you’re working in semi-automatic or automated settings, LV50 combines ease of use, consistent performance, and solid bonding strength.
🧩 What Makes LV50 Different?
Traditional brush epoxy systems (like LV or LVI) use a 100:10 or 100:12 ratio — accurate but prone to error in large-scale production.
LV50 offers a balanced 100:50 ratio, reducing mix errors, improving repeatability, and making it easier to integrate into:
- Automated dispensing machines
- Batch weighing systems
- Standard mixing protocols in medium-to-large plants

🧰 How to Use: Brush Hair Bonding Process
- Set the Bristles
- Natural or synthetic hairs are inserted into the metal ferrule or plastic base.
- Shape is finalized before pouring resin.
- Mix the Epoxy
- Combine 100 parts resin and 50 parts hardener by weight.
- Add filler (typically 30–50% by weight) to increase volume and control flow.
- Pour and Level
- The filled mixture is poured into the ferrule manually or using dispensing equipment.
- Hair is pressed slightly to embed deep into the resin.
- Curing
- Allow to cure at room temperature (24–48 hrs) or use oven curing (60°C for 2–3 hours).
- Once cured, the epoxy forms a rigid plug that permanently locks the bristles.
- Handle Assembly
After curing, the brush handle is attached, and the product is ready for finishing and packaging.
