MR. JO Tecbond – NS — When jobs need more time and structural grit
MR. JO Tecbond – NS — When jobs need more time and structural grit
The real problem:
Large panels, complex assemblies and jobs that require fabric reinforcement or careful leveling suffer when adhesive pot life is short — you end up rushing positioning, poor fiber impregnation, and inconsistent joints.
The practical solution:
MR. JO Tecbond – NS is a thixotropic non-sag epoxy putty formulated for more demanding structural and finishing work. It uses the same 100:100 mixing ratio but gives a longer practical pot life of about 60–70 minutes at 25°C, giving installers extra time to position, clamp and impregnate fibers or fabrics.
t often suffices.

Why it fixes the problem:
- Longer pot life — better for big panels, multi-step assemblies and jobs requiring careful alignment.
- Thixotropic non-drip consistency — stays on verticals and edges while you work.
- Suitable for structural strengthening, fiberglass reinforcement and complicated geometries.

Job-ready workflow:
- Prep: clean and roughen bonding faces; remove dust and oils.
- Weigh & mix: 100 : 100 PBW — mix small batches thoroughly for ~2 minutes.
- Apply & reinforce: for glass/CF reinforcement place cloth into wet putty and overcoat to impregnate.
- Align & clamp: with extra pot life you can spend the time to get perfect alignment.
- Cure: initial handling in 2–4 hours; full cure ~24 hours (ambient).
On-site tips & troubleshooting:
- For very large batches in hot weather, still avoid overly large mixes (exotherm).
- If you need faster handling strength in cooler months, consider a faster grade — but for big assemblies NS is the safer pick.
- Ensure full wetting when using with fibers; incomplete impregnation causes weak spots.
For structural repairs, panel lamination and work that needs time and control, MR. JO Tecbond – NS gives you the room to execute cleanly and strongly.
