Product - EPS 7101

Description

EPS 7101 is Two-component, room-temperature curing, VOCs free thixotropic epoxy paste adhesive with non-sag properties (up to 7 mm thickness). Suitable for SMC, GRP, and composite wood furniture and fixtures, providing resilient bonding, gap filling, and long-term dimensional stability.

• Pot life :- 50-60 minutes @25°C
• Mixing Ratio :- 100:100 V/V
• Mixture consistency :- Thixotropic paste
• Optics :-  Opaque Non drip(up to 5mm) on overhead/vertical surface

• Lamination of composite materials (Carbon fiber, glass cloth, etc.)
• Bonding GRP, SMC and dissimilar substrates
• Bolt anchoring
• Bonding of packing ply, packing board, and veneer sheets
• Structural bonding of synthetic wood components

• Clean surface by suitable mechanical or chemical means such as solvent wiping, sand blasting, wire brushing or chemical itching to remove any deposits of dirt, grease or moisture.

• Attach cartridge to manual or pneumatic dispensing systems.
• Open tip.
• Purge cartridge by squeezing out some material until both sides are uniform (ensures no air bubbles are present during mixing).
• Attach mix nozzle to end of cartridge.
• Apply to substrate.

• Apply mixed epoxy directly to one surface in an even film or as a bead.
• Assemble with mating part within recommended working time.
• Apply firm pressure between mating parts to minimize any gap and ensure good contact (a small fillet of epoxy should flow out the edges to display adequate gap fill.)

• Apply epoxy to both surfaces.
• Spread to cover entire area OR make a bead pattern to allow flow throughout the joint.
