Fix it tonight, run the floor tomorrow — MR. JO Tecseal-CRP to the rescue
Quick, tough, no-fuss concrete repair putty — designed to stop potholes, fill cracks, and repair peeling concrete so your floor is safe and serviceable the very next day.
The scene every facility manager knows too well
It’s Monday morning. A forklift hits a low spot near the loading bay, the pallet wobbles, and a worker trips on a hidden pothole. Production grinds to a halt while the supervisor calls for quotes to resurface the floor — a costly, time-consuming job. If only that pothole had been repaired last week.
Concrete damage doesn’t wait. Left unattended, small cracks and potholes grow, create trip hazards, damage tyres, and spiral into larger structural repairs. You don’t always have time for a full resurfacing — you need a fast, trustworthy repair that restores the floor’s strength and keeps operations moving.
The problem — why quick fixes often fail
- Temporary patches made with poor materials crumble in traffic.
- Slow-setting mortars mean long downtime and blocked areas.
- Poor adhesion on contaminated surfaces causes repairs to pop out under fork-lift loads.
- Messy, multi-step systems increase labor and cause scheduling headaches.
What you need is a product built for on-site speed that still bonds like a structural repair — not a cosmetic cover-up.
The solution — MR. JO Tecseal-CRP
Tecseal-CRP is a ready-for-site concrete repair putty formulated for fast, durable repairs. Mixed 100:50 (resin : hardener by weight), it’s easy to measure, quick to mix, and simple to apply — and it cures to a hard, traffic-ready surface overnight.
Why maintenance teams love it:
- Fast setting — repair today, traffic tomorrow.
- Easy to mix & apply — simple tools, minimal training.
- Excellent bond to concrete — long-lasting repairs that don’t pop out under forklifts.
- Good workability — fills potholes, voids, spalls and peels cleanly.
- Reduces accidents & downtime — immediate safety improvement for busy floors.
Tecseal-CRP isn’t a temporary trim — it’s a practical, durable repair that extends the life of your floor until you plan a full resurfacing.

Job-ready workflow — repair a pothole in 8 steps (field tested)
- Assess & mark the damaged area. Make a quick sketch of patch extent so teams know the plan.
- Prepare: remove loose debris, chipped concrete, dust, oil and laitance. Use a wire brush, chisel or grinder and then blow or vacuum the area. Good adhesion starts with a clean surface.
- Dampen (if instructed by TDS): lightly moisten very dry concrete — avoid standing water. Excess moisture reduces bond.
- Measure & mix: weigh Part A : Part B = 100 : 50 by weight. Mix on a clean tray or bucket using a trowel or drill mixer until uniform colour and texture. Mix only what you can apply within its working time.
- Apply: press the putty into the repair, compacting to eliminate voids. Overfill slightly to allow for finishing. Use a trowel to profile and smooth. For deep repairs, fill in layers rather than one massive fill.
- Tool & finish: shape to level with surrounding floor. Feather edges to reduce trip hazard. Clean tools before cure.
- Cure overnight: leave undisturbed. Typical return-to-service is next morning — follow the product TDS for exact cure times and temperature notes.
- Inspect & reopen: check bond and surface. For high-traffic zones consider light grinding and sealing as a next step.
Practical tips (what your team should know)

- Batch size: mix only what you’ll apply — large mixes generate heat and shorten working time.
- Temperature: cure speed varies with ambient temperature; slower cure in cold, faster in heat. Follow TDS for best results.
- Deep holes: fill in lifts if the repair is very deep to prevent excessive exotherm and ensure full cure.
- Finishing: for areas that will receive epoxy flooring later, use CRP as the pre-repair step — it bonds excellently and creates a sound base for primers/coats.
- Safety: use gloves, eye protection and follow standard PPE. Dispose of waste per local regulations.
Troubleshooting — quick fixes to common issues
- Putty won’t bond / flakes off → Surface contamination. Re-prepare: remove dust/oils and try again.
- Putty set too fast or too slow → Batch size or ambient temp issue; make smaller batches and/or adjust timing per TDS.
- Shrinkage or cracking in patch → Over-thick single pour or insufficient compaction; fill in thinner layers and compact properly.
- Excessive heat during cure → Mixed too much at once; reduce batch size and keep material and substrate cool.
The ROI — why a little maintenance saves a lot
A quick CRP repair:
- Prevents accidents and potential injury claims.
- Reduces equipment damage (forklift tyres, pallet rollers).
- Delays or reduces the scope of expensive resurfacing.
- Keeps production running — less downtime equals saved revenue.
Often a handful of CRP repairs each quarter keeps the floor safe and functional for years.
When a pothole, crack or peel threatens safety or operations, you don’t want to schedule a week-long repair — you need a fast, durable, dependable fix. MR. JO Tecseal-CRP is the practical solution: simple to use, bonded for the job, and engineered to have your floor back in service by morning.
