Q1. What is MR. JO Tecseal – CRP used for?

A1. MR. JO Tecseal – CRP is a high-performance, two-component epoxy repair putty designed for:

  • Filling honeycombs, surface blowholes, and voids
  • Repairing damaged concrete edges and shallow potholes
  • Bonding precast concrete segments
  • Patching areas prior to epoxy floor coating or self-leveling
Q2. What is the mix ratio for MR. JO Tecseal – CRP?

A2. The correct ratio is 100:50 by weight (resin: hardener). Mix thoroughly until uniform before application.

Q3. Who typically uses this product?

A3.

  • Civil and flooring contractors
  • Precast manufacturers
  • Waterproofing and maintenance teams
  • Industrial flooring applicators
Q4. What makes MR. JO Tecseal-CRP different from traditional concrete fillers?

A4.

  • Stronger bonding and flexibility
  • No cracking or shrinking
  • Excellent adhesion to concrete, stone, and metals
  • Can be overcoated directly with epoxy or self-leveling materials
Q5. What colors does MR. JO Tecseal-CRP come in?

A5.

  • Concrete Grey (standard repair tone)
  • Rust Ochre (orange-brown tone preferred in some visible surface jobs)
Q6. How is MR. JO Tecseal – CRP applied?

A6.

  • Mix resin and hardener in 100:50 ratio
  • Apply with trowel, spatula, or gloved hand
  • Press into voids and finish surface as required
  • Wet fingers or tools can help smoothen the surface
Q7. Can aggregates be added for larger pothole repair?

A7. Yes. For deep or wide potholes, add graded aggregates or quartz to the mixed putty for bulk filling and improved mechanical strength.

Q8. Can I use MR. JO Tecseal-CRP to repair floor patches before applying self-leveling or epoxy flooring?

A8. Absolutely. It is ideal for preparing surface defects, ensuring broken patches don’t expand beneath self-leveling. Once CRP is cured, you can overcoat it directly with floor systems.

Q9. Is a primer needed before using MR. JO Tecseal-CRP?

A9. On clean, roughened concrete, CRP can be used without primer. For critical applications or old substrates, use an epoxy primer for better interlayer adhesion.

Q10. Can MR. JO Tecseal-CRP be applied vertically or overhead?

A10. Yes. Its non-sag consistency makes it ideal for beams, columns, soffits, and vertical crack repair.

Q11. How long is the pot life and cure time?

A11.

  • Pot Life: ~30–40 minutes
  • Initial Set: ~2–3 hours
  • Full Cure: ~24 hours at 25°C
