MR. JO Floor – ASL1 : 1 mm Antistatic Self-Leveling Epoxy Flooring System
In modern industrial and electronic manufacturing environments, static electricity is more than a nuisance — it’s a risk. MR. JO Floor – ASL1 is a 1 mm thick, three-component, self-leveling antistatic epoxy flooring system engineered to deliver exceptional ESD (electrostatic discharge) control and long-lasting surface protection.
Combining smooth, seamless aesthetics with static control properties of ≤10⁹ Ohms, this system is ideal for critical environments where protection of electronic components, personnel, and equipment is paramount.
Key Applications
MR. JO Floor – ASL 1 is designed for light to medium traffic industrial and commercial spaces where static-safe environments are essential, including:
- Electronics assembly units
- PCB manufacturing and testing labs
- Precision component manufacturing
- Telecommunication equipment rooms
- Packaging areas for sensitive devices
- Data centers and server facilities
- Clean rooms and dry areas in pharma plants
Product Highlights
✅Electrostatic Dissipation
Forms a flooring layer with resistance up to 10⁹ Ohms, safely dissipating static charges before they accumulate.
✅Smooth, Seamless, and Self-Leveling
Creates an aesthetic, jointless, and hygienic surface that is easy to clean and maintain.
✅Chemical and Moisture Resistant
Resists oil, mild acids, solvents, and moisture, making it ideal for spill-prone environments.
✅Efficient Thickness Control
Delivers optimal performance at 1 mm, reducing material usage without compromising antistatic function.
✅Compatible with Full ESD Flooring System
Best results when used with Mr. JO Primer – AS and copper tape grid for effective grounding.

Application System
- Surface Preparation
- Substrate must be structurally sound, free of laitance, grease, or moisture.
- For uneven surfaces, apply underlay system (like MR. JO Underlay – FLO or STD) to level out substrate.
- Priming
- Apply MR. JO Primer – AS over a clean surface.
- Copper tape grid should be installed beneath or on top of the primer, depending on grounding layout.
- Mixing
- Mix Part A (resin), Part B (hardener), and Part C (filler) in the specified 100:50:75 PBW ratio.
- Use a mechanical mixer for uniform blending.
- Application
- Pour and spread using a notched trowel or spiked roller.
- Avoid air entrapment and ensure even spread over the entire area.
- Curing
- Light foot traffic: After 24–36 hours
- Full cure: 7 days at 25°C
- Do not wash or apply cleaning agents before full cure.

Why Choose MR. JO Floor – ASL1?
Because precision environments demand precision flooring. Mr. JO Floor – ASL 1 strikes the right balance between antistatic performance, aesthetics, hygiene, and economy — making it the go-to choice for mission-critical spaces where downtime is not an option.
