Typical Use Process
1. Hair Insertion & Ferrule Setup
Brush hair bundles are placed into the metal or plastic ferrule using standard jigs or holders.
2. Epoxy Preparation
- Mix 100 parts Resin (Part A) with 10 parts Hardener (Part B) by weight.
- No additional fillers are typically required due to its optimized viscosity. However, minor filler may be added for steep slope brushes.
3. Dosing/Pouring
- Mr. JO Tecbond – LVI is especially well-suited for automated or semi-automated filling systems.
- The flow properties allow the epoxy to seep through bristles quickly and consistently.
4. Curing
- Ambient cure in 24–48 hours, or heat cure at 60–70°C for 2–3 hours.
- Once cured, the bond is solvent-resistant, mechanically strong, and chemically stable.
5. Handle Attachment
The brush handle is affixed post-curing using mechanical fitting or secondary adhesives as needed
