Description
Jpoxy JR 3011 acts as a medium-thick glue called epoxy resin. It contains a chemical named Bisphenol-A. Also, special changes improve its performance. Workers apply Jpoxy JR 3011 to stick metal, plastic, and wood parts tightly. It flows well and forms strong, lasting bonds. Moreover, it resists heat and chemicals.

A1. JR 3011 is a low-viscosity, C12–C14 modified Bisphenol-A epoxy resin. It is solvent-free and specially designed for high-solids coatings, moisture barrier applications, and epoxy waterproofing systems.
Q2. What are the key features of JR 3011?A2.
- Low viscosity for easy application
- Excellent penetration and substrate wetting
- Good adhesion to concrete, masonry, and metal
- Enhanced workability in hot climates
- Improved water resistance due to C12–C14 alkyl chain modification
A3. It is used in:
- High-solids and solvent-free epoxy coatings
- Epoxy primers and sealers
- Waterproofing and damp-proof membranes
- Protective coatings for concrete structures
A4. The C12–C14 modification gives it a hydrophobic backbone, improving moisture resistance, chemical resistance, and substrate adhesion, especially in humid or damp conditions.
Q5. What hardeners are recommended for JR 3011?A5. JR 3011 is compatible with most polyamide, polyamine, and modified amine hardeners. Choice of hardener depends on:
- Desired pot life
- Cure speed
- Target film thickness
- Ambient temperature
A6. While it can be used in flooring primers or seal coats, for self-leveling applications, higher viscosity resins (like JR 3000 or JR 3003) may be better suited. JR 3011 is ideal for penetrating primers and topcoats in flooring systems.
Q7. How is JR 3011 different from JR 3000?A7.
Feature | JR 3011 | JR 3000 |
---|---|---|
Viscosity |
Lower (4500–6500 mPa·s) | Medium (10,000–15,000 mPa·s) |
Modification | C12–C14 alkyl modified | Unmodified Bisphenol-A |
Use | Coatings, primers, waterproofing | Composites, adhesives, general purpose |
Color | Extra clear (Gardner ≤ 0.5) |
Gardner ≤ 1 |
A8. Shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in its original, sealed packaging at room temperature (20–30°C), away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Q9. Can JR 3011 be pigmented or used in colored coatings?A9. Yes, JR 3011 accepts a wide range of epoxy-compatible pigments and dispersions. It forms a great base for pigmented floor coatings, waterproofing membranes, or decorative epoxy layers.
Q10. What packaging sizes are available?A10. It is available in standard packs of 5 kg, 10 kg, 20 kg, and custom bulk packaging. Contact us for project-specific quantities.
