Description
Jpoxy JR 4125 is a modified epoxy resin that flows easily because it is very thin. It does not contain solvents. People use it to make smooth, self-leveling floors and strong protective coatings. This epoxy resin can handle hard use and resists chemicals well. It protects floors and surfaces so they last a long time.

A1. Jpoxy JR 4125 is a low-viscosity, solvent-free epoxy resin modified with C12–C14 aliphatic chains for improved flow, substrate wetting, and chemical resistance. It is used in self-leveling epoxy floors, high-solid coatings, and protective sealers.
Q2. What are the key features of JR 4125?A2.
- Ultra-low viscosity (900–1200 mPa·s)
- C12–C14 alkyl chain modification
- Excellent substrate wetting and leveling
- Outstanding chemical resistance
- Non-solvented – ideal for eco-friendly coatings
- Transparent appearance with Gardner color ≤ 0.5

JR 4125 is more fluid, making it ideal for thin, self-leveling finishes and clear or pigmented sealers.
Q4. Where is JR 4125 typically used?A4.
- Self-leveling epoxy floors
- Pigmented or transparent epoxy sealers
- Dust-proof coatings on concrete
- Industrial and commercial floor protection
- Chemical-resistant barrier layers
A5. Yes, JR 4125 is highly compatible with epoxy pigments and fine fillers. It creates smooth, bubble-free coatings and can be used with fumed silica or flow agents for enhanced leveling.
Q6. What type of hardeners are compatible?A6. JR 4125 can be cured with polyamines, cycloaliphatic amines, or polyamidoamines, depending on desired pot life and working time. Pair with flooring-grade curing agents for best performance.
Q7. Is JR 4125 suitable for UV-exposed areas?A7. Epoxy systems including JR 4125 are not UV-stable and may yellow over time in sunlight. For UV-exposed applications, apply a UV-resistant polyurethane topcoat.
Q8. How does JR 4125 improve chemical resistance?A8. The C12–C14 modification introduces a hydrophobic structure that helps resist water, salts, acids, alkalis, and common industrial chemicals, making it suitable for chemical rooms, labs, and warehouses.
Q9. What is the shelf life and storage advice?A9. Shelf life is 12 months from manufacturing when stored in original, tightly sealed containers at 20–30°C, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Q10. What pack sizes are available?Q10. Jpoxy JR 4125 is available in 5 kg, 10 kg, and 20 kg containers, with bulk supply options for large flooring or coating projects.
