Description
Jpoxy JH 1425 is a thick, clear hardener made without solvents. It uses a polyamide base and works best for stopping rust and protecting surfaces. Moreover, it performs well in tough conditions like factories and marine environments. Since it dries quickly and forms a strong bond, it helps your coatings last longer. Also, it is easy to apply, making it ideal for both industrial and general use.

A3.
- Adhesives for wood, metal, composite bonding
- Sealants for construction and industrial joints
- Marine coatings for boats, docks, and offshore equipment
- Protective primers for humid or coastal areas
A4. It works well with:
- Jpoxy JR 3010 (unmodified BPA resin)
- JR 3012 / JR 3016 / JR 3018 (modified BPA resins for flooring or mortar systems)
- JR 3390 (BPF resin) for enhanced chemical resistance
A5. For an epoxy resin with EEW of ~190, the typical use level is around 55–60 phr (parts of hardener per 100 parts resin). Always confirm with lab trials for specific applications.
Q6. What are the benefits of using a polyamide hardener like JH 1425?A6
- Excellent adhesion to damp surfaces
- Good flexibility and toughness
- Low blush in humid weather
- Strong resistance to salt spray and corrosion
A7. Yes, it is. Its medium viscosity allows for easy application by brush, roller, or knife in most use cases like primers, sealants, or adhesives.
Q8. Is it solvent-free?A8. Yes, JH 1425 is solvent-free. For spray applications, use compatible epoxy-grade reactive diluents if thinning is needed.
Q9. What precautions should be taken during use? A9.- Use gloves and eye protection
- Ensure ventilation in enclosed spaces
- Store in sealed containers, away from moisture and sunlight
A10. When stored in original sealed packaging in a cool, dry place, JH 1425 has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture.
