Description

Mr. JO Tecseal – WF is a two-part, brown epoxy adhesive. It is solvent-free and works well on wood furniture and fixtures. You can use it for both indoor and outdoor applications. • Color :- Reddish Brown
  • Pot life :- @25'C 65-85 mins
  • Mixing Ration :- 100:80 PBW
  • Mixture consistency :- Thixotropic paste
  • Optics :- Opaque
  • Surface finish

Surface Preparation
  • The mixture should be applied on a clean, rough and dry surface. For good results, it is required that the concrete surface is clean, rough and dry. This should be achieved by suitable mechanical and chemical means such as sandblasting. Wire brushing or chemical etching. Suitable degreasing agent should be used to remove any grease, oil or traces on the surface.
Application Method
  • Use Part A & Part B in ratio 100:80 PBW. Mix the two components in small batches thoroughly for at least 2 minutes.
  •  Apply the mix on the prepared substrate directly or using proper spatula.
  •  Sufficient quantity of adhesive is to be applied so that bonding layer between the substrate is sufficient thick.
  • Allow at least 8 hours for good bond strength.
Q1. What is MR. JO Tecseal-WF used for?

A1. It’s used for filling and repairing wood defects on mid-tone or stained woods — particularly:

  • Doors, cabinets, and furniture panels
  • Window frames
  • Veneered boards
Q2. What color is MR. JO Tecseal-WF?

A2. A warm medium brown tone that blends well with walnut, teak, or polished hardwoods.

Q3. Is Mr. JO Tecseal-WF different from MR. JO Tecbond-WF?

A3. Yes. MR. JO Tecseal-WF is the pre-filled paste version — ready to use without adding fillers, unlike MR. JO Tecbond-WF which is a base adhesive.

Q4. Can I sand and polish MR. JO Tecseal-WF after curing?

A4. Absolutely. It cures into a hard, polishable surface.

Q5. Can it be used as a wood filler before veneer pressing?

A5. Yes — it provides a smooth base under veneers once fully cured.

Q6. Can I mix pigments or wood dust into MR. JO Tecseal-WF?

A6. It's already pre-colored, but yes — minor adjustments are possible using epoxy-compatible wood pigments or dust.

Q7. Can it be used outdoors?

A7.It’s moisture-resistant but best used in indoor or protected environments unless top-coated with sealers.

Q8. Is it flexible or brittle after curing?

A8. WF has minimal shrinkage and remains slightly resilient to accommodate minor wood movement.

Q9. After sanding, the filled area looks slightly whitish. Is this a defect?

A9. No — this is normal for epoxy-based wood fillers. When sanded, the surface may appear slightly chalky or whitish, especially with lighter colors like WF. However, once you apply a clear lacquer, wood polish, wax, or any transparent coating, the original wood-tone color of the filler is fully restored, and it blends beautifully with the surrounding wood.
