MR. JO Inject – MV : Medium Viscosity Epoxy Injection Grout for Structural Repairs

MR. JO Inject – MV : Medium Viscosity Epoxy Injection Grout for Structural Repairs
MR. JO Inject – MV is a high-performance, solvent-free, two-component epoxy injection grout with medium viscosity. It is specially designed for structural crack repairs in reinforced concrete elements where deeper penetration is needed without excessive spreading. Ideal for medium-width cracks, voids, and honeycombs, this formulation delivers superior bonding, low shrinkage, and high mechanical strength for long-term durability.
Whether for vertical columns, slabs, or overhead structures, Inject – MV flows well without running off, making it perfect for both pressure injection and gravity feed applications.
🔍 Key Features
✅Medium Viscosity – Balanced flow for deeper penetration in structural cracks
✅Solvent-Free – Non-shrinking, no hazardous fumes
✅Long Pot Life – Extended working time for larger or complex jobs
✅High Bond Strength – Chemically fuses with old concrete
✅Versatile – Suitable for slabs, beams, RCC tanks, basements, and columns
📦 Technical Specifications

🛠️ Applications
- Injection of medium-width cracks (0.5–3 mm)
- Repair of concrete beams, columns, foundations, slabs
- Filling honeycombs and internal voids
- Restoration of monolithic strength in old concrete structures
- Grouting for RCC water tanks, industrial flooring, silos, and bridges

🔧 When to Use MR. JO Inject – MV
Cracks in RCC structures due to thermal stress, settling, or load impact can threaten the structural stability of a building. For cracks of moderate width, Inject – MV strikes the right balance between flowability and strength, ensuring complete filling without sag or leakage.
It is especially useful where low-viscosity grouts are too runny and very high-viscosity putties can’t penetrate. Inject – MV is your middle-ground solution for effective, economical, and long-lasting repair.
🧪 Injection Method & Application
- Surface Preparation
- Cut a V-groove along the crack (approx. 10 mm wide and deep)
- Clean dust and debris using dry compressed air
- Fix Injection Nipples
- Drill holes 15–30 cm apart along the crack
- Insert 6 mm x 150 mm nipples, and seal using epoxy putty
- Allow sealing to cure for 24 hours before injection
- Pressure Injection
- Use injection gun or pump at 50–100 psi pressure
- Start at the lowest nipple and continue sequentially upward
- When epoxy flows from the next port, seal the current and move up
- Post-Injection Finish
- After curing, nipples can be cut flush or removed
- Optional: apply topcoat or leveling screed for aesthetics

⚠️ Precautions & Best Practices
- Use gloves and eye protection when handling the mixed resin
- Do not apply on active water leaks—use a sealing plug first
- Avoid contact with water before full cure
- Clean tools immediately with suitable epoxy cleaners
- For very fine cracks (<0.5 mm), use MR. JO Inject – VL
- For wet/damp conditions or under-prepared substrates, use MR. JO Inject – UPS
🧠 Good to Know
- If required, gravity filling can be done on horizontal cracks
- MV can also be used as a primer or base layer before applying protective epoxy toppings or overlays
- Crack depth and width determine whether LV, MV, or VL should be selected
🧰 Typical Use Case
A 2.5 mm wide diagonal crack in a concrete beam supporting industrial machinery can be structurally dangerous. With its deeper flow and high adhesion, MR. JO Inject – MV is injected under pressure, restoring beam integrity without major civil work.
MR. JO Inject – MV is the smart choice for medium-depth, structural-grade concrete repairs. With a balance of flow and strength, long pot life, and proven field performance, it ensures structural confidence with every application.
