  • Color: Neutral | Factory Pigmented
  • Pot life @25°C: 20-40 mins
  • Mixing Ratio: 100:50:150 PBW
  • Good Chemical resistant
  • Mixture consistency: Self levelling
  • Thickness: 1 mm
  • Coverage: 1.6 kg/m2
  • Area prone to chemical spillage
  • Laboratory
  • Industrial floors
  • Area prone to oil spillage
Surface Preparation
  • Surfaces should be freed from laitance and dust by sand-blasting. In case sand blasting is not possible, thorough abrading with a hard wire brush should be preferable.
  • Suitable degreasing agent should be used to remove any grease, oil or traces on the surface.
Application Method
  • Repair the surface if damaged. Allow 2-3 hours for surface of repaired area to dry. Choose a suitable product from Jpoxy’s JO range of Adhesives for repairing.
  • Apply primer for better adhesion on substrate. Allow 4-5 hours for surface of repaired area to dry. Choose a suitable product from Jpoxy’s JO range of Primers.
  • An underlay is suggested if the substrate is badly damaged or is prone to high level of mechanical abrasion. Allow 4-5 hours for surface of repaired area to dry. Choose a suitable product from Jpoxy’s JO range of Underlays.
  • Mix all the three components provided in kit thoroughly for at least 2minutes. Apply the mix directly by pouring and spreading with the help of trowel.

Q1. What is the MR. JO Floor-CRSL series used for?

A1. The CRSL series is a self-leveling epoxy flooring system with enhanced chemical resistance, ideal for:

  • Laboratories
  • Chemical storage areas
  • Battery rooms
  • Manufacturing plants with aggressive cleaning or spill risks
Q2. How is  MR. JO Floor-CRSL series different from the MR. JO Floor-SL series?

A2. Both series have similar thickness options and application process. However, CRSL floors offer improved resistance to:

  • Acids and alkalis
  • Solvents
  • Detergents and cleaning agents Use CRSL where chemical protection is a key concern.
Q3. What are the differences between MR. JO Floor-CRSL0.5, CRSL1, and CRSL2?

A3.

  • CRSL0.5 mm: Light-duty, ideal for chemical-resistant sealing or smooth dustproofing
  • CRSL1 mm: Medium-duty floor with higher resistance
  • CRSL2 mm: Heavy-duty, suitable for traffic zones and chemical loads
Q4. Are MR. JO Floor-CRSL products available in colors?

A4. Yes. All CRSL floors are offered in:

  • Factory-pigmented kits
  • Neutral kits (to be pigmented on site using MR. JO ArtPigment at 4–6% of resin weight)
Q5. What is the typical flooring system with MR. JO Floor-CRSL floors?

A5. A standard CRSL floor system includes:

  1. Primer: Use MR. JO Primer-MVC or LVC
  2. Underlay (optional): Use MR. JO Underlay-FLO (1–3 mm) or MR. JO Underlay-STD (4–6 mm)
  3. Topcoat: CRSL0.5, CRSL1, or CRSL2 based on thickness and usage
Q6. When should I use an underlay with MR. JO Floor-CRSL?

A6. Use MR. JO Underlay-FLO or FLO when:

  • Floor is uneven or damaged
  • You require slope correction or base build
  • You're applying CRSL1 or CRSL2 and want enhanced mechanical build-up
Q7. What if there are cracks or potholes before application?

A7. Pre-fill with MR. JO Tecseal-CRP epoxy repair putty. It can be used:

  • Before or after primer
  • For both minor and structural floor repairs
Q8. What is the pot life and cure time for MR. JO Floor-CRSL floors?

A8.

  • Pot life: ~30–40 min at 25°C
  • Foot traffic: ~24 hours
  • Full cure for chemical resistance: 5–7 days
Q9. What surface preparation is required?

A9.

  • Clean, dry, and mechanically prepared floor
  • Oil, laitance, and loose dust must be removed
  • Prime with appropriate epoxy primer before CRSL flooring
Q10. What tools are required for CRSL application?

A10.

  • Mixing drill or paddle
  • Notched trowel or rake
  • Spike roller for de-aeration
  • Safety gear (gloves, eyewear)
Q11. Can the floor be recoated later?

A11. Yes. Sand the surface lightly and clean it thoroughly before applying a fresh CRSL or compatible topcoat.

Q12. Are these floors anti-skid?

A13.

  • Use neutral cleaners
  • Avoid harsh acidic or solvent scrubbing in the first week
  • Periodic checks for chemical exposure damage are advised in aggressive zones
Q14. Will it yellow in sunlight?

A14. Like most epoxies, some yellowing may occur under prolonged UV. For outdoor or sunlit areas, apply a UV-stable topcoat.

Q15. How does MR. JO Floor-CRSL compare in price to standard MR. JO Floor-SL flooring?

A15. CRSL systems are moderately higher in cost due to enhanced chemical resistance, but the added durability often offsets the cost over time in harsh environments.
