Description
MR. JO Gelkot-BLU is a two-component blue epoxy gelcoat system. It has high viscosity and cures fast.Additionally, it is solvent-free and easy to apply. Also, it works great for wet layup tools and room temperature molds. You can use it in the ceramic industry, for foundry patterns, and for copy-milling models. Mix it with 14 PHR hardener. So, it’s a smart pick for smooth, strong results.

- Surfaces should be freed from laitance and dust by sand-blasting. In case sand blasting is not possible, thorough abrading with a hard wire brush should be preferable
- Suitable degreasing agent should be used to remove any grease, oil or traces on the surface.
- Take small quantities of gel coat resin and hardener parts by weight as recommended.
- Mix the two components together thoroughly for at least 2 minutes so as to achieve uniform mixing and thorough consistency of the mix.
- Apply mold releasing agent on the surface of the mold and then apply 2 – 3 coats of the gel coat, allow it to cure.
