Description
Jpoxy JH 1056 is a low-viscosity polyamide hardener. It works best with Jpoxy JR 3013 and Jpoxy JR 3000. Because it spreads easily, you can apply it without trouble. Moreover, it helps the epoxy cure quickly. As a result, you get a strong and long-lasting finish. This makes it great for many different projects.

A1. JH 1056 is a low-viscosity polyamide 160 curing agent used with epoxy resins. It is known for easy handling, fast cure, and strong bonding, even when used with fillers or in thick sections.
Q2. Which epoxy resins are suitable with JH 1056?A2. It pairs especially well with:
- JR 3013 – for tile grout and high filler applications
- JR 3000 / JR 3005L – for self-leveling or adhesive systems
- JR 3017 / JR 3018 – for civil and flooring use
A3. JH 1056 is ideal for:
- Potting and encapsulation of components
- High filler loading adhesives for structural bonding
- Mortars and repair compounds
- General-purpose epoxy jobs where low viscosity and strong cure are needed

Q5. Is it suitable for potting and encapsulation?A5. Yes. Its low viscosity allows deep penetration and easy flow around parts, making it excellent for electrical and mechanical encapsulation, especially when thermal or chemical resistance is needed.
Q6. Does it support high filler loading?A6. Absolutely. The flowability of JH 1056 makes it compatible with high filler content, such as quartz, silica flour, or aluminum oxide, without compromising cure or bond strength.
Q7. Can it be used in tropical or humid environments?A7. Yes. While not as blush-resistant as JH 1001, it performs reliably in most ambient conditions typical of India. Ensure good substrate prep for best results.
Q8. What is the recommended mix ratio?A8. With epoxy resins having EEW ~190, the recommended mix is typically 55–65 parts of JH 1056 per 100 parts resin by weight. Fine-tune in testing for your specific system.
Q9. Can it be pigmented or extended?A9. Yes. You can blend pigments, fillers, or even thixotropes to make custom mortars or grouts. Always pre-test for performance and cure.
Q10. What is the shelf life and storage condition?A10.
- Shelf life: 12 months
- Storage: In a cool, dry area, sealed tightly, and away from moisture and direct sunlight.
