🛠️ Surface Preparation: The Foundation of Success
No matter how good your epoxy is, its performance is only as strong as the surface it bonds with.
Clean. Rough. Dry. That’s the golden rule.
For concrete floors:
- Remove laitance and loose particles by grinding or shot blasting.
- Ensure surface is free of dust, oil, grease, and contaminants.
- For underprepared or slightly damp surfaces, use MR. JO Primer – UPS.
- Repair cracks or potholes using MR. JO Tecseal-CRP before priming.
Priming is essential to lock pores, prevent air release, and ensure long-term adhesion. Choose from:

🔹 Avoid washdowns, heavy traffic, or topcoat sealing during the first 48 hours.

⚠️ Precautions & Cautions
❌Do not apply on oily or dusty substrates.
❌Avoid over-thinning or poor mixing—this compromises film integrity.
✅ Always mix Part A & B thoroughly, and only add Part C (filler) once the liquid is uniform.
✅ Store products in a cool, dry place between 18–25°C.
❌ Avoid foot traffic until touch dry; vehicle traffic only after full cure.
⚠️ For external areas, yellowing may occur with UV; overcoat with UV-stable system if required.
