Description
JPOXY JH 1057 is a low-viscosity polyamide hardener. It works best with JPOXY JR 3013 and JR 3000 resins. Moreover, this hardener cures quickly and is easy to apply. It gives a smooth finish with very little color change. In addition, it provides strong adhesion for long-lasting results. The formula is simple to use and cost-effective. Therefore, it fits many general-purpose needs. As a result, industries choose it for tough jobs and reliable performance

A1. It is a versatile epoxy hardener ideal for:
- Water-wipeable tile grouts
- Primers
- Adhesives
- General-purpose epoxy formulations where low color and fast cure are important.
A2. Yes. Its low color (≤8 Gardner) makes it compatible with both white and pigmented systems, helping achieve clean, consistent color tone.
Q3. Is it suitable for clear or transparent systems?A3. It may be used in light-colored systems, but for high-clarity transparent epoxy, cycloaliphatic or ultra-low color amines (e.g., JH 8347A or JH8357) are better suited.
Q4. Is JH 1057 moisture tolerant?A4. While it is not designed for submerged conditions, it offers moderate tolerance to surface moisture, making it suitable for humid environments.
Q5. What is meant by “water wipeable grout” in this context?A5. When used in epoxy tile grout formulations, JH 1057 allows excess grout to be wiped off tiles with a damp sponge within the working time — giving cleaner joints and easier application.
Q6. Which resins pair best with JH 1057?A6. It is ideally used with JR 3013 or JR 3000 epoxy resins for optimal mechanical performance and workability.
Q7. Does it support high filler loading for putties or mortars?A7. Yes. Its low viscosity makes it suitable for high filler applications like grouts, repair putties, and tile adhesives.
Q8. What is the typical pot life and cure time?A8. Pot life and cure time depend on the formulation, temperature, and filler content. Typical working time is 30–45 minutes at 25°C, with handling strength in 6–8 hours.
